Our Mission

New AI tools emerge every day, but most reviews are filled with sponsored promotions, shallow trials, and exaggerated claims. StackHK wants to change that.

We believe: good tools deserve to be discovered, and bad tools should be honestly called out. Every review is an independent assessment based on self-funded purchases and real-world deep usage. We do not accept sponsorships, advertising, or review resources from tool vendors.

Our perspective is rooted in Hong Kong, serving the entire Asia-Pacific region. We pay special attention to the localization performance of AI tools in Chinese-language scenarios and APAC markets — a dimension often overlooked by Western review outlets.

Review Methodology

Every review follows a rigorous process to ensure conclusions are evidence-based.

🔬

Minimum 7-Day Deep Testing

Every tool is used in daily workflows for at least 7 days. Not a 30-minute quick trial, but full project-level testing.

📊

Four-Dimension Quantitative Scoring

Weighted composite scores across four dimensions: Ease of Use (25%), Value for Money (30%), Feature Depth (30%), and Support & Updates (15%).

🌏

Asia-Pacific Perspective

Focused testing on Chinese-language support, APAC access speed, local pricing, and localized features. This is our core differentiator from Western review outlets.

🔄

Continuous Update Tracking

After a review is published, we continuously monitor significant tool updates. When features change substantially, we update the review and mark the revision date.

💰

Zero Sponsorship Policy

We do not accept any sponsorship, advertising fees, free accounts, or review resources from tool vendors. The testing costs for every tool are borne entirely by the team.

🤝

Transparent Affiliate Policy

Some tool links contain affiliate codes — clicking or purchasing may generate revenue for us. But this does not affect scores or conclusions — affiliate CTAs always come after the verdict.

Scoring System

Every review assigns scores across four weighted dimensions, producing a composite rating out of 10.

Dimension Weight What We Evaluate
Ease of Use 25% Onboarding experience, learning curve, interface intuitiveness
Value for Money 30% Pricing structure, free tier quality, cost vs. value delivered
Feature Depth 30% Core capability strength, unique features, AI model quality
Support & Updates 15% Update frequency, community activity, documentation quality
